Medical FAQ
Do you have medical staff?
Yes, we have a medical director who has an active DO license in Texas state. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, and consultations are completed via telehealth visit with an NP, PA, MD, or DO (based on the state of residence and state law).
How long will my appointment take?
It takes approximately 15-20 minutes for comprehensive labwork, 45-60 minutes for an IV consultation and treatment, 5-10 minutes for nutrient injections, and 30-45 minutes for peptide or TRT consultations.
What are the risks involved with iv therapy, peptide therapy, or hormone replacement therapy?
There is always the possibility of risk involved in administration of IV, Peptide, and Hormone therapy. However, we have strict administration protocols and a thorough intake form to minimize potential adverse reactions. Our team is made up of all RN staff, that work under multiple providers, that use industry-standard protocols, 503A/503B FDA-accredited pharmacies, and are well-educated on these therapy modalities and can recognize potential contraindications/ adverse reactions.
What is peptide therapy and how does it work?
Peptide therapy involves short chains of amino acids that promote health, wellness, disease and symptom management. There are peptides to aid in weight loss, muscle gain, joint pain, and more. Book a consultation for a fully-integrated program.
What is iv therapy and how does it work?
IV therapy has a number of uses. It is a safe and efficient way to administer essential fluids, nutrients, and medications. It maximizes bioavailability because it is administered directly into the bloodstream. IV therapy is more effective than oral fluids, nutrients, and minerals because it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract.
I am pregnant. can i have an iv treatment or participate in peptide therapy?
We treat pregnant women up until 27 weeks. The only IV treatment we administer to those who are pregnant are 500-1,000mL of IV fluid with Pyroxidine (Vitamin B6), that helps primarily with 1st trimester nausea/vomiting.
However, no peptide therapy is allowed for pregnant patients.
Can my child be treated?
Our minimum age is 16 years old for administering IV treatments. Patients must be 18 years or older to participate in peptide therapy.
